Set in Yara, the new Far Cry entry allows players to set up the gender of their protagonist and have more customizing options over his/her appearance. However, it seems there are going to be more first-evers in Far Cry 6.
Far Cry 6 Could Feature Endgame Content
The good news is the rumor around the Far Cry 6 endgame content comes from a developer who works on it.
David Grivel, the lead game designer behind Far Cry 6, revealed in a recent interview that players will have “something else” to do in Yara, once they are finished with the main story quests.
Most of the Ubisoft titles, especially the ones with a heavy focus on co-op gameplay, have feature endgame content as a way to keep the community engaged with the game even after finishing the main storyline. Some successful examples can be found in The Division 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
However, when it comes to the Far Cry series, the endgame content usually appears as paid expansions releasing a few months after the game’s launch.
With David Grivel’s tease, it sounds like Ubisoft would like to offer more free endgame content with Far Cry 6.
Far Cry 6 is supposed to be out on October 9 this year. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Hopefully more information will be revealed about the game during the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event at E3 2021.
