En Masse Entertainment announced that the high fantasy MMORPG Tera will receive an Open Beta for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 9.
The Tera Open Beta will be available to the aforementioned console owners via their respective digital stores from March 9 6:00 a.m. PST until March 12 12:00 a.m. PST.
“Tera’s development team at Bluehole, Inc. has taken great care to adapt the vast world of Tera and it’s best-in-genre action combat to console platforms,” said Matt Denomme, Sr. Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment. “We feel the results speak for themselves and we’re excited to get the game in the hands of players during our upcoming Open Beta event weekend. Consoles need a solid MMORPG and Tera is prepared to deliver.”
Originally exclusive to PC, Tera allows players to explore a massive in-game world where they will encounter many Big Ass Monsters (BAMs). During combat, players are able to dodge and launch a series of attacks and skills to create combos and take the monsters down. Additionally, multiple characters will be available to match various player play styles, which will support whether they prefer to quest alone or with friends.
Tera will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Spring of 2018.
