The Elder Scrolls Online finally announced its PS5 update, so here’s everything you need to know about what’s coming to the world of Tamriel.

ESO PS5 Upgrade Date
Today, PlayStation announced that the Elder Scrolls Online PS5 enhanced upgrade would be going live around the world on June 8.
The PS5 enhanced version of the game is set to launch alongside the Update 30 for the game and the Blackwood Chapter.
ESO PS5 Enhancement Details
The PS5 enhanced version of the game will be free to download for all ESO owners.
The game will have the two game modes that have been popping up all over PS5 and Xbox Series X/S games: performance mode and fidelity mode. In performance mode, you can expect ESO to run at a smooth and stable 60 FPS. In fidelity mode, the game will have “increased draw distance, fully unlocked high-resolution textures, improved reflections, improved ambient occlusion, improved shadows, and greater depth of field.”

Currently, the Elder Scrolls Online is free on the PlayStation store until April 13. You can try out the base game as well as the Vvardenfell zone expansion to see what the buzz is all about.
Additionally, the Blackwood Prologue questline is free for anyone with the base game to check out in anticipation of the Blackwood Chapter expansion coming June 8.
