The Dying Light x Rust Crossover Event is officially live in Dying Light, here’s how you can get your hands on some brand new Rust themed items in Dying Light.
If you haven’t checked it out already, the Dying Light developers released a special trailer for the launch of the Rust crossover. You can watch the trailer in the YouTube video below.

Dying Light x Rust Crossover Event
The crossover event between Dying Light and Rust went live on April 19 and is set to last a whole week, meaning the event will conclude on April 26.
During the event week, players will be able to jump into Dying Light and have even further intense fights with bandits, get various rewards from searching bounties, and even discover new outposts to conquer.
The new event will also add global objectives that require players to work together in order to unlock rewards.
How To Get New Skins, Weapons, and More
There’s a few ways to get your hands on the Rust themed Items in Dying Light, but you’ll have to do them before the event ends on April 26.
Players will be able to grab the free Rust Bundle DLC from their console store of choice. This new bundle includes the following items:
- Heavy Plate Outfit
- Buggy Skin – Rust Bucket
- Short Axe – Salvaged Cleaver
- SMG – Custom SMG
- Assault Rifle – Rust Assault Rifle
To unlock more Rust items, such as Gold Blueprint upgrades for the Rust weapon set, you will need to complete Research Bounties.
And for those that want to help towards completing the Global Objective, doing so will rewards players with the Gold Fire, Gold Freezing, and Gold Poison C4 Dockets.
To help complete the Global Objective, players will need to hunt down Air Drops, Raid Outposts, and Eliminate Bandits.
