Many rejoiced at the announcement of Dragon’s Crown Pro for PS4, and today we get to see the first gameplay.
The first two videos below are from two stage events hosted by Sega at Tokyo Game Show. The third video was filmed off the screen by yours truly at the event. It lacks audio (there was an extremely noisy Sonic Forces event on the stage a few feet away) and it’s not direct feed, but lets you see a different area of the game.
It goes without saying that the game didn’t lose any of its charm in the move from PS3 and PS Vita to PS4. As a matter of fact, it looks absolutely majestic thanks to its beautiful 2D visuals and the art style by Vanillaware President George Kamitani.
As the title implies, it’ll come with full PS4 Pro support, running in native 4K resolution.
You can check out all video below, and if you want to see more, you can also enjoy the first screenshots, the first trailer with which it was announced at Sony’s most recent press conference. If you’re unfamiliar with the title, you can also read my original review of the PS3 version from 2013.
Dragon’s Crown Pro will release in Japan on January 25th, 2018 exclusively for PS4.
