Divinity: Original Sin 2 is one of the meatiest games you can buy in recent years. However, developer Larian Studios appears to stand by the idea that more is always better, as they’re doling out even more content. Across all platforms, the game is getting its third free DLC content drop, and the Nintendo Switch version is finally getting a friend invite system.
We've just released our latest Gift Bag: Order & Magic. With this free content, you'll be able to randomize combat, increase your haggling ability and organise your loot. Plus, Switch players will now be able to invite their friends to play! Full details: https://t.co/E1vM0VajEm pic.twitter.com/rh7Id69OA7

The friend invite system is a welcome addition for Nintendo Switch owners. One of the most fun aspects of the Divinity games is playing co-op with a friend. That not being available on Switch seemed like a major loss for players on the platform. Fortunately, Switch owners have it now and can enjoy the new DLC with their pals.
The third free DLC (or as Larian is calling them, “Gift Bags”) adds several new features to the game. First up is the new “pet power” which buffs up the summoning class and its spells. You can now cast infusion spells on all of your summons, making them much stronger. The DLC also adds a combat randomizer, which randomizes some of the enemy spawns. No longer will you know exactly how a fight is going to go down before you start it. Now, you’ll have to plan more on the fly.
Other additions include turning the Black Cat into a follower, improved organization, and a new vendor. The team has also made haggling work across your party, so you won’t have to switch to a specific character to get the best prices.
These updates should breathe a bit more life into an already content-packed game. Adding the friend invite system to the Switch is a particularly great move. All of this new content is available now for Divinity: Original Sin 2 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
