Dirt 5 gets a new Features trailer showcasing the game’s different locations, divers car classes, detailed photo mode, and some other key parts to tweak the experience.
As one of the earliest next-gen titles announced this year, Dirt 5 will be hitting current-gen consoles in less than three months with the next-gen versions coming whenever the new consoles launch. The game has been announced during Microsoft’s first Xbox Series X gameplay reveal showcase and it’s going to be the biggest entry of the Dirt series ever.
Featuring a campaign mode voiced by Nolan North and Troy Baker, the game seems to have some surprising plans up its sleeve when it comes to a story-driven career mode. However, the new video is mostly dedicated to announcing some of Dirt 5’s key features that would please fans for a long journey of fun and diverse off-road racing.
As it was revealed before, the trailer showcases different car segments in the game, featuring a total of 12 car classes from classic rally to modern-day GT cars. Moreover, the trailer introduces 10 brand new locations and off-road in-game events in the various locations of the world from Asia to Latin America. Also, we get to have a quick look at some of the online and local multiplayer modes of the game, but they are yet to be detailed.
Accompanied with the features above, Dirt 5 will also deliver a livery editor and a full-option photo mode at launch. Also, some iconic game modes of the series such as Gymkhana will be brought back with the new entry.
Dirt 5 is set to be released on October 9 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. The game will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X as soon as they become available in the market.
Codemasters’ latest launch F1 2020 received huge applause from media recently and performed greatly in the case of sales at its launch week. It’s yet to be seen how fans and reviewers will react to Dirt 5.
