The latest trailer from Codemasters’ Dirt 5 reveals a new off-road track in Cape Town, Africa that is actually set inside a football stadium.
Dirt 5 is surely one of the most anticipated racing titles of this year for all fans of the genre. To be honest, 2020 has been a really great year for racing enthusiast so far. F1 2020, Project Cars 3, and WRC 9 all have been launched during this year, and almost all of them have succeeded in delivering extremly entertaining experiences on their own. Hopefully, the line-up of racings will be continued by Dirt 5 and Destruction: All Stars in November.
Dirt 5 is going to bring the biggest and most expansive reacing experience you’ve ever had in the series so far. The game features a dozen car classes and the same number of different events in various locations of the world, inviting you to challenge yourself in a series of exciting of-road tournaments, from New York’s frozen river circuits to Cape Town’s dirty stadium.
As shown in the trailer above, the stadium track of Cape Town seems funny and fantastic for an exhilrating off-road race. The track has actually drawn inside and outside of the stadium with some round corners and heighty bumbers.
One thing that really caught my attention in the trailer above is the game’s great sound design that simulates every possible noise that you might hear inside of a car in a dirty track of an off-road race.
Dirt 5 will be available on November 6 for Xbox One, PS4, Stadia, and PC. The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions of the game will arrive on November 10th while PS5 edition will hit the market on November 12th. The game will have a high-tier Amplified Edition as well, including three unique cars and the season pass of the game.
