Sushee Games announced Tuesday morning that development on the continuation of the Fear Effect series, Fear Effect Sedna, is complete.
The team at Sushee Games has been relatively quiet since last October when they revealed that Fear Effect Sedna would be coming to Nintendo Switch and that they plan to launch in early 2018. Now, the team is seen in a picture posted on the game’s official Twitter holding a disc titled “Fear Effect Sedna” and a description reading, “Development on Fear Effect Sedna is completely finished! More news coming soon.”
Fear Effect Sedna Seda is being published by Square Enix Collective after Square Enix allowed the team to pitch the project and acquire the Fear Effect license. The game is based four years after the events of Fear Effect and follows Hana as she is freed from the triads and now lives with Rain in Hong Kong. However, after accepting a relatively “easy” mission, Hana is thrown into a something bigger than she ever expected.
Additionally, Sushee Games is working on a remake of the original Fear Effect titled Fear Effect Reinvented which will contain the same atmosphere and fixed camera angles that players remember with update graphics and systems to bring the game to the current generation.
Fear Effect Sedna is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2018.
