Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen is now live and players are discovering more new items and weapons as they progress in the new season more and more. After talking about the new grenade launcher Salvager’s Salvo, now it’s time to see what the new Destiny 2 Frozen Orbit sniper has to offer. Unfortunately, there’s no certain way to get this weapon other than playing PvP Crucible matches and being lucky to receive the gun in drops. But, here we will go over the perks and mods of the gun to give you a better understanding of Frozen Orbit.
When it comes to the Sight, Frozen Orbit uses a 50 Zoom optic which might not be ideal for any player, but if you are a veteran sniper-main you will have a lot of fun with this gun in the proper maps. When you combine the 50 Zoom with 75 Range and 90 Impact, Frozen Orbit turns into a real beast. With 3 rounds per magazine and 75 Recoil, the new PvP sniper is moderately easy to control.
Heading into the perk Rolls, Frozen Orbit drops with Aggressive Frame Exotic, along with some random rolls that you can spot below. If you get a Snapshot Sight as your random Trait perk, you’re probably so lucky as the trait is incredibly useful for snipers. On the other hand, legendary barrels such as Arrowhead Brake, Corkscrew Rifling, and Polygonal Rifling could be well-suited perks for the gun. Moreover, a Moving Target trait will be helpful for sniping with the Destiny 2 Frozen Orbit.
Based on the statistics so far, players are getting Frozen Orbit mostly with Arrowhead Brake, Accurized Rounds, Killing Wind, and Snapshot Sight as perks. Below, you can check out the available mods for the weapon:
- Adept Stability
- Adept Range
- Adept Handling
- Adept Reload
- Adept Mag
- Adept Counterbalance
- Adept Targeting
- Adept Icarus Grip
- Adept Big Ones Spec
Destiny 2 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for free. If you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber you can get the post-launch expansions for free.
