Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba The Hinokami Chronicles – Steam Pre Order Guide

Sega has opened the PC, Steam pre orders for Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba The Hinokami Chronicles, here’s what you need to know.

• DEMON SLAYER – What’s the newly announced novel?

First, in case you need a reminder, Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba The Hinokami Chronicles will be out on October 15. The fighting game, adventure game by CyberConnect2 is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.

Overall, it’s a tag-battle arena fighter. The Versus mode allows each player to pick two characters, and you can switch between the two on the fly. There’s also an online mode.

The Hinokami Chronicles also includes an Adventure Story mode where you play as Tanjiro and get to relive part of the original manga. The game includes both Japanese and English voices.

Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba The Hinokami Chronicles Digital Deluxe Edition

Following consoles, Sega is selling the special Digital Deluxe Edition of the game on Steam as well. And it’s up for pre order right now for $69.99 on Steam. Keep in mind the Digital Deluxe Edition is the only version of the game you can pre order on Steam. A normal edition will be launched on release day.

Note that this is identical to the Digital Deluxe Edition sold for consoles too. Personally speaking, I’m definitely not a fan of pre orders including earlier access to a game. With that said, If you plan to get Demon Slayer on Steam, you’ll definitely be better off pre ordering anyways. To get the bonus costumes and characters.

Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles was first announced back in March 2020. The game is titled Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan in Japan. The October 15 release is a worldwide release.
