Aniplex and CyberConnect2 revealed on February 15 new screenshots and gameplay for Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan, the Demon Slayer game everyone’s waiting for, focusing on Tanjiro. This is direct-feed, and much more high-quality than the gameplay reveal that recently happened on stream. A new development report video was published as well, showing the developers of CyberConnect2 working on the game.
As usual, the game looks incredible. The gameplay footage is amazing and shows once again how Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Kepputan looks strikingly similar to an anime. CyberConnect2 definitely has great talent to make that kind of magic possible using 3D. The final game might end up looking just as good if not better than Arc System Works’ stuff and the upcoming Guilty Gear Strive.
The gameplay introduction trailer for Tanjiro showcases several of his combos, skills, and his ultimate move. His throw including a headbutt is a pretty nice touch too. Keep in mind this is still in development footage. The game should be looking even better at release.
As always, the videos were officially uploaded on the Aniplex official YouTube channel. Which is region-locked to Japan. Instead, we have reuploads included below. With a Twitter backup.
