Koei Tecmo released on March 26 an English version of Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation on Steam. The game is only available for Southeast Asia players though, and the game’s Steam page is region-blocked.
Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation is a free-to-play game based on Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. The game has multiple new girls not featured in any other Dead or Alive games and keeps adding new ones. The game released in 2017 in Japan and so far we have five of them: Misaki, Luna, Tamaki, Fiona, and Nagisa. You can read about the game in detail with our guide.
However, it seems like this Steam version of the game was censored. I couldn’t try it out myself as it’s region locked, but multiple players mentioned on the game’s Steam page’s comments that some elements like being able to touch the girls or grab their swimsuits got removed.
It’ll also be interesting to see if this version of the game will properly get supported, with the events, new swimsuits/clothes and elements of the Japanese version quickly making their way there or not. Koei Tecmo also regularly publishes new trailers on the game’s official YouTube, showing new swimsuits and such, so maybe these trailers will be releasing in English as well starting now. You can find Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation‘s latest trailer below, which features a new swimsuit worn by Fiona.
Meanwhile, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet released on PS4 and Switch on March 20. Misaki is included in that game as well, along with Leifang, but not the other new girls from Venus Vacation. The game’s Asia version also includes an English translation. There are multiple differences between the PS4 and Switch version which you can read about here. It was also previously announced the Nintendo Switch will exclusively receive a free-to-play version of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet, but it currently has no release date.
