Capcom has rated an unannounced game titled The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles in Taiwan, for PS4, Switch, and PC, pointing at a localization of Dai Gyakuten Saiban. (Thanks, Gematsu).
Dai Gyakuten Saiban are the Japan-exclusive Ace Attorney games taking place during the Meiji Era. Both games were released on Nintendo 3DS. The games features Naruhodou Ryuunosuke as the protagonist, heavily implied to be the ancestor of Phoenix Wright / Naruhodou Ryuuichi. Both games are also inspired from Sherlock Holmes.
The first game, Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Bōken, was released on July 9, 2015 in Japan. The sequel, Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2: Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Kakugo was released on August 3 2017.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles would be containing both games. The games also proposed DLC costumes for fans who wanted to dip in a bit further. So the compilation could include them from the get go as well.
Rumors of a localization of both Dai Gyakuten Saiban games also emerged in late 2020 after the leaks from the cyber attack Capcom was regrettably hit with. If Capcom does announce The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, fans of Ace Attorney will finally be able to play the games with an official localization.
A fan translation group titled Scarlet Study has been translating the Dai Gyakuten Saiban games. All of Dai Gyakuten Saiban 1 has been fan-translated. Meanwhile, Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2 was partly translated so far.

On a related note. If Capcom officially localizes Dai Gyakuten Saiban with The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, it’s possible the sequel to Ace Attorney Investigations, known as Gyakuten Kenji 2 in Japan, will be localized as well. This one too has a fan translation, as only the first Ace Attorney Investigations was official localized.

It’s also interesting to note the director of the first The Great Ace Attorney game, Shintaro Kojima, left Capcom back in December 2019. Capcom has several projects in the works, most notably the mastodon Monster Hunter Rise, coming to Switch worldwide on March 26. Resident Evil Village is also coming soon on May 7.
