Everybody loves a cool cosplay. I mean, what’s better than seeing your favorite character in a convention walking around with you? We did a piece earlier today on one such cosplay, even based on a game from the same company, but this might go above and beyond even that.
It may take a while longer for us to actually experience it, but the past trailers for Cyberpunk 2077 are telling. It’s a well-written world, filled with its own quirks and oddities. People don’t just modify their jackets with neck heaters or neon lights, they modify their bodies. Gangs replace a majority of their olfactory organs with tech, assumedly because it works better but who knows. So instead of hollowing out half of their head, Reddit user u/Aritria_Das_Designs built a Cyberpunk 2077 motorcycle.
Cyberpunk cosplays have been done, not to understate their impressiveness. But building a motorcycle to replicate the grim, neon style of that genre is something that I’ve never seen before. Against its setting, this hog looks like something brought in from an alternate reality. It’s not too hard to imagine a heavily modified gangster speeding through neon-lit streets blasting a smart-shotgun at anyone that gets in their way.
In a way, this build just makes the wait for Cyberpunk 2077 even harder. If you’re like me and feeling that way, you can watch the gameplay trailer from E3 2018 below, as I’ll be doing for the next few days.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch later this year on September 17, 2020, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
