Nintendo and Studio MDHR announced on today’s “Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase Spring 2019” that platforming and shooting game Cuphead is coming to Switch on April 18. Pre-orders are open now. The announcement was accompanied with a pretty nice earwormy song that basically repeated how Cuphead‘s coming to Switch so you’re sure to not forget about it for the rest of the week.
Xbox One was the only platform besides PC and Mac where Cuphead was available until now, so this Switch release will definitely bring a new public to the game. The old-school cartoon animations will surely bring in younger players as well. Cuphead is known for its high difficulty, but the game has easier difficulty modes as well.
You can check the trailer and the catchy jazzy “Cuphead is coming to Switch” song below. Cuphead was the very first game featured on the Nindies Showcase Spring 2019 stream, so the announcement trailer is right at the beginning of the video. You can also find the whole stream below.
