According to industry insider Daniel Ahmad, the latest Crash installment is set to be officially announced on during the Summer Games Fest on June 22nd next week. Based on the box art that was leaked alongside it appears that Crash Bandicoot 4 will not be releasing on the Nintendo Switch. In the past the Crash N. Sane Trilogy released first on PS4 to later release on Xbox One and Switch. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled however, released on all three consoles at launch so as of right now it is up in the air if the title will eventually make its way to the Nintendo console. It is also worth noting that Crash Bandicoot 4 is seemingly coming to Xbox Series X at the very least based on the leaked box art. News regarding the PlayStation 5 is currently unknown.
While there are currently no more details regarding the latest installment of the Crash Bandicoot saga we won’t have to wait much longer if the rumors are true and we do get the proper reveal next week. Knowing that a new Crash game is coming, however, it will be interesting to see in the future if Spyro will receive its long-awaited fourth entry with both Crash and Spyro having big comebacks during this generation with N. Sane Trilogy and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. For now, we’ll have to just wait and see.
