The cat’s out of the bag; Terahard Studios has announced that its feline-centric cooperative brawler Claws of Furry will be released on September 4th.
If you’ve played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Final Fight and couldn’t help but wish you were controlling a group of cats with ninja capabilities, Claws of Furry is probably the game for you. Boasting over fifty different levels, Claws of Furry blends tried and true beat ’em up style gameplay with everyone’s favorite household pet.
Setting Claws of Furry apart from similar titles are the game’s unlockable costumes. While at first glance these costumes may seem like simple cosmetic changes, each costume effects gameplay differently. Considering the cooperative nature of the game, the prospect of diversifying each player’s strengths and abilities seems almost too tantalizing to pass up.
In addition to including these cosmetic buffs, Claws of Furry will also launch with several different games modes. Considering one of these is a rogue-like mode, it’s clear that not every cat in Claws of Furry will have nine lives.
Claws of Furry will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows on September 4th. You can check out the game’s new release date trailer below.
