PQube Game revealed in a new trailer that the visual novel Chaos;Child will release in Europe on October 13 and North America on October 24 for PS4 and PS Vita.
Announced to be coming west last May, Chaos;Child takes place in Shibuya, Tokyo following the events an earthquake that happened several years prior. Evidently, this earthquake nearly destroyed the district leaving the citizens to clean up the mess.
The story follows Takuru Miyashiro, a high school student who lost his parents in the earthquake. Around him and his group of friends, bizarre murder cases begin to take place in the district which seem to match up with cases and murders that happened around the same time six years before.
Takuru and his friends set out to investigate the murders, which puts them close to danger and mystery.
Additionally, a new trailer launched showing CG events and a story overview of the characters from the visual novel. Players will play through the story until they successfully track down the killer that the police can’t seem to find.
The story will change as the player chooses things to explore such as, nightmares or daydreams, which each have an affect on the Takuru’s realities, and changes the story.
Chaos;Child is developed by the creators of Steins;Gate, another important visual series for fans of the genre.
