Today’s the second day of Sheep Week, Atlus and Studio Zero revealed Rina Satou as the 10th voice actress for Catherine in the DLC of Catherine: Full Body.
The trailer starts with the usual discussion on marriage before switching to Vincent and Catherine in Vincent’s bedroom, with Catherine apologizing for suddenly pushing him down. Another scene switch occurs and we see them sharing a cupcake handmade by Catherine. She might have put in too much salt, but she’s sure she’ll improve her cooking skills soon. This particular line makes Vincent remember he once shared a similar moment with Katherine in the past.
Rina Satou’s voice for Catherine is described by Studio Zero as “the older woman you admire”. Makoto is by far the most popular female character in Persona 5. She got first place on our popularity poll on the game too. Satou-san herself is a great voice actress with many popular roles.
During one of the live events for Catherine: Full Body at Tokyo Game Show 2018, along with revealing new info on the game, they also shared all the DLC voice actresses for Catherine might be linked to Studio Zero related games.
Today, October 30th marks the last day if you want to make bets on who the 11th and final “Ideal Voice” DLC will be, as the voice actress will be revealed on the 31st. It’ll either be Nana Mizuki (Anne), Romi Park (Naoto), Rie Tanaka (Mitsuru), or someone else entirely if Studio Zero decides to surprise us.
The first, initial voice for Catherine is by Miyuki Sawashiro. The DLC voices for Catherine revealed so far are:
- Noto Mamiko (Fuuka in Persona 3), whose voice is available without buying the DLC.
- Ami Koshimizu (Yukiko in Persona 4), whose voice was revealed during the Tokyo Game Show 2018 live stream I mentioned above, along with the Persona 5 collaboration for the game.
- Aoi Yuuki (Futaba in Persona 5)
- Yui Horie (Chie in Persona 4)
- Kana Asumi
- Haruka Tomatsu (Haru in Persona 5)
- Megumi Toyoguchi (Yukari in Persona 3)
