Today Sega and Atlus released a large batch of screenshots of the upcoming Catherine remake Catherine: Full Body.
We get to see the main protagonists, the indecisive Vincent, the alluring Catherine (alongside the ability to change her voice actress with two options in the base game and nine via DLC), the beautiful Katherine, and the mysterious Rin.
The game includes over twenty new anime cutscenes, a greatly expanded story due to the appearance of Rin and new scenarios for Catherine and Katherine, who will also get new endings.
We get to see the different levels of difficulty (safety, easy, normal, and hard) for the puzzle stages. Safety mode has no time limit, no traps, and no game overs. You can even skip each puzzle and there is a support feature that lets you see the safest and quickest route possible. This can be turned on and off even within the Safety mode.
There are over 500 additional stages, with the “Arrange” mode offering alternate versions of each puzzles for those who completed the original game.
You can check out the screenshots below. You can also watch a recent trailer, more videos, the opening cutscene, and the box art.
Catherine: Full Body releases in Japan for PS4 and Ps Vita on February 14th. A western release is planned for 2019, with no announced date or platforms yet.
Incidentally, Catherine: Full Body won our Best Puzzle/Platformer Game and Best Competitive Game awards at Tokyo Game Show 2018.
