Today Atlus announced Catherine: Full Body for PS4 and PS Vita. While the first info is officially coming tomorrow with the new issue of Weekly Famitsu, as usual, the magazine has been leaked.
Thanks to Japanese blogger Ryokutya2089, who usually manages to grab a copy early, we learn a few more interesting details about the game.
The “New Catherine” is named “Rin” and she is a pianist at the bar where Vincent hangs out. She has a straightforward and calm personality.
The game will include a new ending song, and a lot of new episodes, anime cutscenes, and sexy events. The title “Full Body” is explained by the fact that the game has become denser, and the term has been borrowed from wine. It also sounds “kind of erotic.”
There will be extensive difficulty settings and quality-of-life systems. New mechanics will also be added and new modes, including one based on moving multiple blocks linked together.
Online features will also be included, and cross-save will be supported.
If you’re not familiar with the game, The original Catherine was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan and North America and Japan in 2011, and then in in Europe in 2012. If you’d like to learn more about it, you can check out our review.
