The countdown to Call of Duty: WWII continues and while players on console will have to wait till November 3 when the full game releases, PC players will have a chance to get in on the Beta this weekend. To be sure that players are ready to experience the game on Friday, Activision has begun the pre-load procedure on Steam.
The download requires 25 gigabytes of storage space and is available to anyone who wants to try out the WWII shooter. Players will be able to try out several of the game’s modes and maps and the new Headquarters social space. The open beta lasts from September 29 to October 2 and, as a reward for taking part in the beta, players will receive an exclusive beta combat pack when the game releases.
Earlier last week, new Nazi Zombies screenshots were revealed that show off some of the most terrifying renditions of the creatures to date. On the lighter side of things, several trailers were released that featured several of the game’s main characters.
