Today Pearl Abyss suddenly released a teaser trailer for the mobile version of its successful MMORPG Black Desert Online.
Being a game for smartphones, you would expect the mobile version to look a lot worse than its PC counterpart, but the truth is that it looks really, really nice.
Details are scarce, besides the promise of a full-fledged MMORPG on mobile platforms, and the fact that PvP sieges and world bosses are included. No specific release windows were provided.
That being said, you can check out the video for yourself below and see what it looks like. Considering that Black Desert Online is probably the most graphically advanced MMORPG on the PC market, this kind of visual glitz on mobile is less surprising.
Just recently, publisher Kakao Games teased further updates and new content for the PC version, also switching to a bi-weekly update schedule.
Foe now, Black Desert Online is available exclusively for PC (both in stand-alone version and on Steam), but at Microsoft’s E3 press conference it was announced that the game will be released for Xbox One and Xbox One X early next year. Pearl Abyss also confirmed a few months ago that the game will launch for the PS4 family of consoles as well, but no info has been provided on when exactly this will happen.
