With RAGE 2 and Far Cry New Dawn releasing months apart from one another, there’s been a bit of a (fun) rivalry emerging between these two anticipated games that happen to feature very bright, colorful takes on the post-apocalyptic genre, with Bethesda taking a playful, tongue-in-cheek jab at the upcoming Far Cry game on social media.
As previews have begun hitting for Far Cry New Dawn ahead of its release in a few weeks, Bethesda took to social media to post a piece of art from the RAGE 2 Twitter account that happens to poke fun at the key art for Far Cry New Dawn, complete with Comic Sans font and all.
Huh, I guess pink is all the RAGE?

Naturally, given that the two titles happen to share a similar setting and stylistic approach that takes the post-apocalyptic genre into more off-the-wall storytelling, Bethesda’s tweet surely captures what a lot of people are thinking about the two titles as they are nearing release. That said, it’s fun to see this taken in a lighthearted, funny approach that perfectly fits the humor that defines the RAGE series.
RAGE 2 will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 14, 2019, while Far Cry New Dawn will debut for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15, 2019.
