If ARK: Survival Evolved were a person, I’d invite them to every party I throw. They always seem to be having wacky events with fun costumes enjoyed by all players who participate. Just last month they had their second annual Love Evolved Valentine’s Day event and now it seems like they’re gearing up for the sixth annual Eggcellent Adventure. Here’s everything we can expect from the next big ARK Easter event.
Creatures
As with every ARK Easter event since Eggcellent Adventure 3, the game has turned half of all wild Dodos into egg-laying Bunny Dodos. Likewise, 50% of all Oviraptors transform into egg-laying Bunny Oviraptors. It’s safe to assume that those creatures will be making a comeback for Eggcellent Adventure 6, but I would love to see another creature get the bunny-fication treatment as well. Perhaps something aquatic that would require diving or some kind of water-based retrieval system. That might add another layer to the fun of egg hunting.
Items
In exchange for eggs, players can get a surprising number of cosmetic items. Eggcellent Adventure 4 introduced the chocolate rabbit club skin and 5 brought in the sweet spear carrot skin, so hopefully the upcoming event adds another Easter-themed weapon skin. An egg-shaped shield seems to be pretty on the nose, but at this point, I think I’d take just about anything. The event also lets players grab some fun Easter-themed hats which I assume are coming back for Eggcellent Adventure 6, but I think some more Easter outfits should be introduced. A suit that makes you look like a bunny or chicken would definitely be a lot of fun.
Date
All previous Eggcellent Adventures have started a few days before Easter in the real world. The event runs for two weeks and then disappears until the next year. In 2021, Easter is happening on April 4. This means we can expect Eggcellent Adventure 6 to run from sometime around March 28 until April 11. These dates are obviously educated guesses, so they might not be 100% accurate.
