The new update will be releasing on September 30 which will give you a ton of new content for you to enjoy on your own personal island. Naturally, you will be able to grow a patch of pumpkins which you will then be able to customize in classic Halloween style. There will also be other holiday projects you can learn to do from your island neighbors. Throughout the month you can visit the Able Sisters where costumes will be purchasable and using your nook miles to obtain body paint and eye contacts to help make your Halloween costume extra spooky. After 5 pm on Halloween day in your respective time zone, your island residents will meet in the plaza dressed in their own costumes along with a visit from Jack also known as the “Czar of Halloween” who will reward you with in-game items if you give him candy.
Outside of the holiday-themed treats in this update, players will be able to revisit previous dreams. The NookLink app will also be getting an update where you will be able to use your device to perform reactions.
The Limited Edition Switch based on Animal Crossing: New Horizons has recently got a restock at major retailers making it more than one reason to pick up the game this Halloween.
You can buy Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Amazon.
