Animal Crossing: New Horizons release date is, well, right on the horizon. Nintendo’s latest in their popular series just had its own Nintendo Direct and is now getting a hands-on demo at PAX East this week. Attendees in Boston can go try the upcoming game out from 2/27- 3/1 in what Nintendo is calling a “full-scale immersive booth experience”. Sounds like a can’t-miss opportunity for PAX East goers.

Of course, even if you aren’t going to PAX (raises hand), you don’t have to wait long to try out Animal Crossing for yourself. The game is out next month. Nintendo’s recent Animal Crossing Direct gave us a ton of new info about the game. There is way too much to get into here, but you can check out our breakdown post if you missed it. It has all the news you could look for in one handy place.
It’s good to see Nintendo with a big presence at PAX East. With companies like Sony dropping out of the con over concerns around the coronavirus, it was beginning to feel a little slim. That said, there is still going to be quite a bit to do there. Obviously, Nintendo will have a big booth and Larian Studios is going to give off a first-look at Baldur’s Gate 3‘s gameplay. Plus, DualShockers will have several people on the floor, so you can expect lots of news, interviews, and previews over the next few weeks.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons launches on Nintendo Switch March 20.
