miHoYo published the Character Demo trailer for Albedo ahead of his launch in Ver 1.2 of Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, Mobile, Switch soon). The trailer is directed masterfully as always, and the direction quality has further increased. Maybe in a couple of years, some of the people directing these at miHoYo will end up being big names in the anime industry. Just like how some of the best AMVs of the nineties were made by talented individuals who later became prolific anime directors.
The video showcases Albedo and his alchemist skills, which translate gameplay wise to Geo elemental skills. As usual when both versions of a Genshin video is available, we included both the Japanese dub and the English dub of the trailer below.
Genshin Impact – Albedo Character Demo (Japanese, English)
The Character Tales video for Albedo, revealing more about him, and the Collected Miscellany video, which will go in-depth about his abilities. will be coming at a later date. It seems like there’s no specific order as to which these are released. Back when Ver 1.1 launched, we first got the Character Tales trailer for Childe before his Demo and Collected Miscellany. In any case, we’ll be sure to tell you as soon as we can when both of these are published.

Most notably, the Albedo gacha banner will also feature Bennett, by far one of the most efficient characters in the game thanks to his Elemental Burst. Give him a Noblesse Oblige Artifacts set and he’s gonna be rollin.
The Ganyu banner will start in mid-January. Lastly, miHoYo also detailed the changes Zhongli and Geo characters like Albedo will be affected with in the Ver 1.3 CBT. However, please keep in mind everything is still subject to change till Ver1.3 is actually implemented in February 2021.

During the event, Travelers can obtain the event-exclusive weapon Festering Desire (Sword), and can complete event quests to obtain Primogems, Mora, and other rewards.
