Believe it or not, today marks the 10-year anniversary of Alan Wake, which originally released on Xbox 360 all the way back in 2010. To celebrate the occasion, developer Remedy Entertainment today revealed that the game will soon be headed to a new program next week.
Announced as part of Remedy’s 10-year anniversary stream today, it was unveiled that Alan Wake will be coming to Xbox Game Pass a week from today on May 21. The game will be landing on both the PC and console iterations of the service, meaning that subscribers to either tier will be able to download and play through the title if they so choose.
Alan Wake will be available with @XboxGamePass and @XboxGamePassPC from May 21st.

The arrival of Alan Wake on Xbox Game Pass might not be monumental considering how old the game is, but it’s a fantastic addition nonetheless. For my money, Remedy’s classic action-adventure title is one of the best games of the Xbox 360 era and still very much holds up to this day. If you haven’t played it before, I absolutely recommend that you do so.
And if you’re someone who prefers to outright buy your games, well, now is a great time to do that as well. Alan Wake is currently marked down by 90% on PC, meaning that you can snag the game on Steam for a measly price of $1.49.
As for what Remedy has in store for Alan Wake in the future, the series is set to cross over with a new piece of DLC for Remedy’s most recent release, Control, at some point in the future. Hopefully, we hear more about this add-on soon enough.
