Many of these games have already been released on Xbox One with physical (for some select titles) and digital versions now available. This includes Final Fantasy X and X-2 — which are bundled in the same packaging — Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, and Final Fantasy XV. It should also be noted that Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X/X-2, and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age are remastered versions; the rest are either the original version or ports of the original versions.
These are not the only big Japanese developed games heading to the Xbox One. The Yakuza franchise will make its debut on the console in early 2020 and will also be available through Xbox Game Pass. The full Kingdom Hearts saga will also make its way to Microsoft’s console platform with Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
All of these games have a broad 2020 release window. Surely, specific details on its exact release will be announced at a later date.
