The Stardew Valley modding community is a big one. This one, in particular, has been creating many weird and fascinating additions to the game to give a broader and more in depth farming simulator experience. However, this mod called “Stardew Valley Expanded” has flipped the game on its head and adds many fresh new additions to the base game.
The mod was created by Flash Shifter and it contains a ton of free content. The mod also includes ten new map locations, 38 new character events, over 400 location messages, a reimagined map and festivals, a new town map that reflects all of the changes included, and a ton of miscellaneous additions.
The modder wants players to start a brand new file so that they can experience everything the mod has to offer from the start. FlashShifter stated that the mode is meant to “give the player the magical feeling they had when they first played Stardew Valley.
While I started my first experience on the Nintendo Switch version of Stardew Valley, I might want to pop into this mod given the opportunity. When I first started the game, I was absolutly enthralled in it. Everywhere I went, I wanted to bring my Switch with me so that I could tend to my farm, sell my crops, fish, build relationships, and everything else that makes this title so special. If this mod can recapture that feeling of first starting the game once again, I would do anything to get the feeling back because it sure was special.
