On May 14, Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive will finally release A Plague Tale: Innocence for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. While there is still a month to go until launch, the French developers announced today that A Plague Tale: Innocence has finally gone gold.
In case you aren’t aware, the term “gone gold” is derived from gold master, which is the official designation for game’s that are in a shippable state. Basically, while the developers can take the time to work on fixing bugs and the like for a day one patch, A Plague Tale: Innocence is fully playable and finished. This also means it can now be printed onto discs for its retail release.
For those of you who haven’t heard of the game, it follows sibling Amicia and Hugo as they attempt to survive the Black Plague and Inquisition. The game can display an impressive amount of rats on the screen at one time, and also plays around with the use of fire a lot of its puzzles.
