Kazunori Yamauchi took to the European PlayStation Blog to reveal a limited edition PlayStation 4 console dedicated to Gran Turismo Sport, coming to PlayStation 4 on October 18.
The console will be available at select retailers on the same day that the game launches, October 18. The system itself is the PlayStation 4 Slim model containing a 1 terabyte HDD. However, the bundle is also available in multiple different versions, but without the limited edition console and includes only a standard copy of the game:
- Jet Black PS4 1 TB edition
- Jet Black PS4 500GB edition
- Jet Black PS4 1TB + extra Jet Black DUALSHOCK 4 edition
- Jet Black PS4 Pro edition
The limited edition version features the Gran Turismo Sport logo etched onto a silver face plate. Additionally, the logo also appears on the touch panel of the silver DualShock 4 controller that comes with the system,
This limited edition console comes packed with the Day 1 edition of the game which includes access to $250,000 in-game credits, livery sticker packs, a chrome racing helmet and 60 PS4 avatars.
There is no word of if the limited edition PS4 will appear in North America.
