Far Cry 5 is on the horizon and while the game is bringing players into the new setting of Hope County, Montana, the game’s Season Pass is promising to deliver even more wild adventures after your time in America.
Ubisoft has detailed the Season Pass for Far Cry 5, and overall it seems like fans of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will be pretty happy at the wacky adventures that will be in store for players post-launch.
The Season Pass itself will contain a trio of short narrative adventures that each feature their own unique setting or theme, much like the sci-fi, B-movie action of Blood Dragon. The campaigns themselves are called “Hours of Darkness,” “Dead Living Zombies,” and “Lost on Mars.” Descriptions for each can be found below:
- Hours of Darkness: Players will travel back in time to Vietnam to battle against Việt Cộng soldiers
- Dead Living Zombies: Players will face hordes of zombies across multiple b-movie scenarios
- Lost on Mars: Players will leave Earth behind to go toe-to-claws with Martian arachnids
Alongside the three new pieces of content, the Season Pass will also feature additional post-launch features such as the return of the map editor, and as already announced today, Season Pass owners will get a free copy of Far Cry 3: Classic Edition ahead of its release on PS4 and Xbox One this summer (while PC players will get the PC version of Far Cry 3). No specific pricing information has been revealed just yet for the Season Pass, but it will be included in the game’s $99.99 “Gold Edition” if you opt for the premium edition of Far Cry 5.
