Koji Igarashi’s Artplay released a new video of the upcoming Igavania game Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
The trailer showcases the crafting system, that allows the player to visit Johannes, an alchemist who protagonist Miriam can befriend.
Johannes will be able to combine various elements to create new items or equipment. In the video we see him upgrading a whip into a thorny version, but there is more there is more besides items and weapons that can be crafted, even if the video does not reveal what exactly that is.
Incidentally, the team is currently working on porting the game to its many platforms.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS Vita and Switch. A Wii U version was also supposed to be included in the bunch, but it has been canceled in favor of the new Nintendo console.
