Following this morning reveal in Japanese, Capcom just released another trailer in English of the new mainline game of the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter World.
The video is titled “Hunting 101,” and it does exactly what it says on the tin, teaching you the gameplay flow of the upcoming game.
First we accept a quest, access the item box for consumables, track our target monsters down using the scoutflies and various signs on the terrain and vegetation, we fight and kill the monster, grab his spoils, and finally use them to craft new equipment.
You can check the video out below. If you want to see more of what Monster Hunter World looks like, you can enjoy this morning’s trailers, an accompanying batch of great screenshots, a recent gameplay video, a batch of trailers showcasing all fourteen weapons included in the game, the recording of the San Diego Comic Con panel with a lot of info and footage to enjoy, the announcement trailer, the first screenshots, and impressive direct feed gameplay.
Monster Hunter World will launch worldwide in early 2018 (before March 31st, to be a bit more precise) for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release following at a later time.
