If you thought that Koei Tecmo was done expanding the massive cast of playable characters of its upcoming open-world Musou game Shin Sangokumusou 8, which will be titled in the west Dynasty Warriors 9, you were wrong.
Today, they revealed five more, and more precisely we get to see Yue Jin, Lianshi, Guan Xing, Fa Zheng, and Zhong Hui. And people wonder why I can’t remember the vast majority of the names of the series’ characters…
Besides the reveal, that shows off character artwork for all both in their battle armor and every day outfits, we also get plenty of gameplay trailers showcasing more characters that were previously revealed and their lethal moves as they mow through the rabble as usual.
Included in the videos are Jia Xu, Jhang Jao, Sima Shi, Zhou Cang, Bao Sanniang, Jiang Wei, Xiaoqiao, Liang Tong, and Xun Yu.

Dynasty Warriors 9 will release in Japan on February 8th, exclusively for PS4. The western launch will happen just a few days later, on February 13th. In the west, we’ll also get two additional platforms: Xbox One, and PC.
