Well, looks like the rumors were true. Today, current PlayStation Plus subscribers finally got to learn what type of goodies they’ll be receiving next month, and while we did get one good game in December, January’s free games are almost certainly much better in quality, and a much-welcomed addition.
First off we have Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for PlayStation 4. The game picks up two years after the events of the previous game in the series, 2011’s Human Revolution, and will see players once again take the role of Adam Jenson as he fights the Illuminati, as well as incredibly violent augmented humans. Check out DualShockers’ review of the game here.
The second PlayStation 4 game that players will have access to is season 1 of Batman: The Telltale Series. In it, players will not only get to solve a tough crime as Batman but also as the billionaire Bruce Wayne, which brings an interesting dynamic to the game. You can check out our review of episode one of the series here.
If you want to check out a preview of these two PlayStation 4 titles, you can do so at the end of the article.
Finally, we have the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita titles. If you’re still playing on these systems, you’ll have access to Sacred 3 (PS3), The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (PS3), Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness (PS Vita), and Uncanny Valley (PS Vita).
In addition to all of that, as a bonus, if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber and you own a PlayStation VR, you’ll be able to download StarBlood Arena completely free of additional charge.
Players will be able to start downloading and playing these games on January 2, 2018.
