Call of Duty: WWII’s first community event, titled Winter Siege, has gone live, and it adds a ton of new content, including a new map, weapons, variants, and more all completely free of charge. However, to prepare for the new event, developer Sledgehammer Game has officially released a brand new patch for the first person shooter, but it does more than just that.
The new update, which is numbered version 1.07, fixes over 40 bugs associated with the game’s multiplayer mode, including game disconnects, out of map exploits on five maps, War mode AI improvements and more. In addition to that, a number of weapons, like the Waffe-28, MG-42, and STG-44, were also improved. Finally, zombies mode was also improved in a number of different bug fixes.
The PC version of the patch is almost identical to its console counterparts, except for the fact that it essentially combines the last two console updates together, meaning Ranked Play is finally live on the PC.
The patch should be available to download right now on all systems.
