Released to critical acclaim on the heels of the Nintendo Switch’s launch earlier this year, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild whisked players away into a massive world full of possibility, with a new look at the game’s second expansion having been shown at The Game Awards and, better yet – it’s available starting tonight.
During tonight’s broadcast of The Game Awards, Nintendo released a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – The Champion’s Ballad DLC, and announced that the new DLC would be releasing tonight after the broadcast of the awards show, making for a wonderful surprise for fans of the epic title.
In addition to the surprise release, The Game Awards showcased a new trailer for the expansion that gives players a closer look at what to expect, including new story missions, new items and gear, and tons of extra content, including a Hyrulian motorbike that players can unlock after completing the new quests in “The Champions’ Ballad.”
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s second DLC pack, “The Champions’ Ballad,” is available now on Nintendo Switch and Wii U. For a closer look at the new DLC, you can check out the new trailer from The Game Awards below:
