PM Studio and Acttil are teaming up once again to bring Musynx to Nintendo Switch in the west, coming in Q1 of 2018 both physically and digitally in North America, with a Europe release to receive details soon.
Released as an iOS/Android exclusive title, Musynx brings all of its rhythm gameplay to the Switch. Players will tap along to notes on the screen following musical cues that fans of anime and visual novels might find familiar.
On the cartridge will be more than 50 songs available to play, with optional song DLC packs available, details on the DLC tracks will be given at a later time. Music genres will range from pop, classical, trance, vocaloid, R&B, rock, and more. Players will be scored after completing a song, each with a difficulty option of Easy, Hard, and “Inferno”.
Rhythm games offer tons of replayability options and are easy to jump into when you might only have 10 minutes to play a game. I’m wondering how the note tapping will work on the Switch in docked mode, when the player could easily just tap the screen in handheld mode.
Musynx is available now for iOS/Android devices.
