This talented Batman: Arkham Knight fan creates an out of this world costume by hand that’ll blow you away.
Six years after its release and Arkham Knight is never too far away from the lips of countless gamers. Considered to be one of the best titles of its time, Arkham drew players in with its incredible graphics, gameplay variety, intense open-world detail and a star-studded lineup of talented voice actors that included Troy Baker.
Even though the game has been out for quite some time, Arkham Knight has an army of dedicated fans in its wake who love nothing more than to dip inside its dark and mysterious world time and time again. When it comes to cosplay dedication though, this Batman fan has gone beyond the normal realms of effort in a bid to outdo all others who dare stand in their way (evil laugh).
Batman: Arkham Knight Cosplay
A Reddit user who goes by the name jmweissman has showcased their spectacular cosplay of Batman: Arkham Knight‘s antagonist. Some might be shocked to learn that the embedded picture really isn’t a screenshot from the game but rather the extreme dedication and talent of a huge Batman fan.
jmweissman, real name Jared Weissman, handcrafted the entire outfit with their own fair hands and just one look at the intensity of the heavily armoured costume, it’s plain to see it took some work – six months in fact. Using 3D printing to craft the armour of the suit, Weissman “bought all of the clothes and accessories and painted them” themselves.
“I bought the jacket, pants, boots, and belt pouches, all of which came in black, and I printed, painted, sewed, and created every other piece myself.” stated Weissman on their Instagram “I added custom lighting to the helmet, adding additional lights into the ear vents, and I did my own custom Joker designs on the pouches to pay homage to AK’s time with Joker.”
If you haven’t yet played Batman: Arkham Knight, I highly recommend it and it’s available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
