Genshin Impact‘s latest leak is a bit different from the usual ones, and not only does it leak a new character Kokomi, but also a new creature coming to the game, which is quite adorable to say the least. miHoYo’s strategy of releasing an update every six weeks has worked out pretty well so far, with the game expanding several folds over the months.
Just a few days ago, the 1.6 Update made its debut in the game. While the update added a new region, a new character, a bunch of new items and weapons, and most important of all, the costume system, it was still quite smaller than some of the other updates the game has received.

However, the community is quite excited for the next update. If rumors are to be believed, it could be one of the biggest updates the game has ever received. We could be getting as many as five new characters, along with the highly anticipated region, Inazuma. Not to forget, the new character roster includes Ayaka, something that the community has been waiting for quite a long time now.
Genshin Impact 1.7 Leaks: Adorable Animal Tanuki, New Character Kokomi Leaked
The latest leak comes from abc64, who had earlier leaked a large number of gameplay videos along with the Inazuma region map and much more. In the leak, we see an all new animal Tanuki, which fans are already going gaga over. While some are finding it equally creepy and cute, others are just in awe with the adorable animal.
Alongside that, new references for Kokomi have also been leaked, thanks to Genshin Imapct Leaker Lumie. For those who are unaware, Kokomi is set to be the fifth Hydro in Genshin Impact, after the likes of Barbara, Mona, Tartaglia, Xingqiu. She will be a Catalyst user, and many believe that she has been replaced by another rumored character, Mimi. For now, we don’t have any official information about Kokomi or Mimi, so it’s difficult to say whether it was indeed replaced.
