If you haven’t heard the name Raf Grassetti, then you will definitely recognize his work. He is one of the best artists in the game industry to which he boosts an extremely long and impressive resume. Working at Bioware in 2011 as a Senior Character Artist on the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises, Grassetti then moved to California in 2013 to work at Sony as a Character Art Supervisor where he contributed to titles that consist of Killzone: Shadow Fall, Infamous 3, and The Order 1886. We then saw him getting hired at Sony Santa Monica to work as a principal artist on the God of War series.
If you were ever in doubt of Grassetti’s insane artistic talent, which would never happen by the way, all you have to do is check out his stunning gallery of illustrations over on his Instagram or Artstation. Recently, Grassetti has showcased his latest work and boy, is it good! In collaboration with DC Comics and Scorpion Comics, Grassetti takes on the Joker in what could be the best take on him that I’ve ever seen. You can check the Joker cover for the new DC Comics series yourself below and let us know what you think.
