Famitsu revealed the cover of this week’s issue of the magazine, featuring Xiao from JRPG Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, Mobile, Switch soon).
Xiao joined the playable cast of Genshin Impact with the release of the Version 1.3 update, All That Glitters, on February 3. Xiao is obtainable through a new gacha banner, which you can read the details of here.
Xiao already appeared in Genshin Impact since the pre-release Beta Tests. Most notably, Xiao also appears in the Liyue main story quest of Genshin Impact. As such, he already was a highly popular character before becoming playable. Similarly to what happened with Zhongli and Childe a few months ago.

This is the Xiao and Genshin Impact cover of this week’s Famitsu releasing on February 11. Officially titled Weekly Famitsu Magazine February 25, 2021, Issue. This is one of the brand new official artwork for Xiao that miHoYo has published, and it definitely looks pretty cool.
Another element explaining Xiao’s popularity is how he’s voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. The seiyuu mainly known for voicing Kirito in Sword Art Online.
This week’s Famitsu magazine will also include a feature on Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and several details on other games. As usual we’ll be covering and translating anything newsworthy on DualShockers.
miHoYo previously detailed everything about Version 1.3 All That Glitters and its events. You can check the time and dates for all the events in All That Glitters through our past coverage.
We also have some of the best cosplay Genshin Impact fans have come up with once the game became more and more popular.
miHoYo is also gifting its employees various pieces of hardware for the Chinese new year.
Lastly, if you have some trouble with the ongoing Kurious Kamera events, most notably how to find red creatures, you can check out our guide dedicated to it.
