With the success of the Nintendo Switch, it shouldn’t come as a shock that Nintendo is apparently creating a new Mario Party game. The Switch is easily accessible to large groups, so it is a no brainer since Super Mario Party sold so well.
Nintendo Memories posted on Twitter a recruitment brochure from NDcube, the studio that has been developing the series since Mario Party 9 released back in 2012. The brochure states that the studio is looking to recruit more talent and for those interested to come and apply.

While Super Mario Party was a hit or miss depending on your own tastes, the game tried to go back to the roots of the series. On top of that, the game sold incredibly well for the company. Right now, Nintendo has reported that the game has sold over 12 million copies. Creating a new entry would be a wise choice for the company.
One could assume that NDcube is still early in the development process since the studio is still looking to staff up for its next game.
The latest entry into the series was certainly a step in the right direction. After so many years of fixing something that wasn’t broken in the first place, the Switch entry was a familiar experience to those who played on the N64 and GameCube. However, it still also tried out some new gameplay mechanics as well. My only request would be for the boards to be much larger this time!
Super Mario Party is currently available for the Nintendo Switch. Make sure to check out DualShockers’ review of the game right here.
