Following the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, there’s been notably less cosplayers taking their turn at cosplaying the characters. Thankfully, Saint Petersburg-based cosplayer Lera Himera is not holding back any punches. In a brand new photoset, Lera takes on Tifa Lockheart’s latest style.

Debuting on Lera’s dedicated cosplay Instagram account, we saw the first photos of the cosplay early this week. Seen in the images below, you can tell instantly that this is specifically based on the original Final Fantasy 7 version of Tifa (instead of the Remake’s character model) due to the missing black undershirt.

Catch a quick preview of the images from the set, below:

Worth noting, there are more photos to the set that get a tad more ‘adult’ oriented. We aren’t hosting them here, but I’m not stopping you from heading over to her Insta.

In any case, we’ve seen some truly amazing Tifa Lockheart cosplay in the lead up to Final Fantasy 7 Remake‘s launch. That includes some specifically Remake oriented cosplay by Haruhiism as well as Shade Cramer’s more Shinra-oriented vibe.

In recent Final Fantasy 7 Remake news, we learned recently that Classic Mode will be coming back in the game’s sequel — however, it may not be locked into Easy Difficulty. Director Nomura-san has mentioned that he is hoping the sequel will get there ASAP, without any significant drop of quality. And not to be missed, the official soundtrack has been available for some time now — don’t sleep on it if you are a fan of the series.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is available now, exclusively on PS4. If you haven’t picked up the game yet, you can still get a physical copy of the game over on Amazon to help support DualShockers. Meanwhile, if you are a fan of the cosplay (or want to see Lera’s other work), make sure to follow her social channels over on Instagram and Twitter.
