More presently, it has been confirmed that PUBG has seen over 70 million copies sold.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, the figures come from the lifetime sales across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s not clear if these figures are including the Xbox Game Pass subscription version and the recent Google Stadia version.

PUBG was originally available on PC and shortly ported to Xbox One. When it arrived on the latter it was reported that over 1 million players jumped into the game on that platform. In June 2018, the game had seen 50 million sales across both PC and Xbox One. It eventually launched on PS4 in December 2018.

In 2019, the game saw Season 5 introducing cross-play, and then this year, we saw Season 7 bring back an old map. The 8th season is currently available on the PC test servers in preparation for a rollout at some point this year. It’ll be bringing a remastered version of the Sanhok map.
