If you’ve been eager to get your hands on the full version of Brawlhalla, then your wait is about to be over. Today, developer and publisher Blue Mammoth Games announced that the upcoming fighting game will be available starting October 17, 2017.
In addition to the announcement of the release date, a brand new Legend was also revealed. Called the corsair, she brings a brand new weapon to the game: a cannon, which in turn will open up the game to some brand new fighting styles.
Finally, to coincide with the announcement of the release date, a brand new cinematic trailer was released, which showed off a bad-ass animation featuring all of the characters from the game. It’s unknown whether or not this animation will be featured in game, or if this was just for fun.
Brawlhalla has been very popular. Earlier this year it was revealed that the game had surpassed 5.3 million players, and that it would feature cross-play between both platforms.
Brawlhalla will be available on PlayStation 4 and PC, and will be completely free-to-play at launch. A Founder’s Pack will be available to all PS4 players (which will be known on the PC as the All Legends Pack), and will include access to all previously released characters, as well as any future ones. This pack will be available for $19.99.
